Life update: I just got home from spending a week down at my parents house. Before I went down I had my technical interview at a salon and then drove down to Salem to take my state board tests. I passed! I am now and LICENSED cosmetologist! I also got a call from the salon I interviewed at and the manager offered me the job. I start working on January 2nd.
